Corals are invertebrates in the Anthozoa of phylum Cnidaria. The group includes the important reef builders that inhabit tropical oceans and secrete calcium carbonate to form a hard skeleton. Fossilized Coral is formed when ancient corals are gradually replaced with agate or chalcedony. When the coral is replaced by the agate, the texture in the natural coral preserves in a floral-like pattern. Energetically, this is a calming and soothing stone, grounding and balancing Kundalini energy when it rises too fast through the chakras. It also reduces dizziness, hallucinations, heat or creeping sensations in the limbs.
