TIGERS EYE

Gold/brown is the most common of Tigers Eye, forming when quartz replaces crocodilite forming a Chatoyant stone. As the crocodilite decomposes, iron is exposed and oxidized transforming it into limonite, making tigers eye a limonite quartz. The chatoyant nature of bending light is due to fibrous crystal formation and is therefore a metamorphic rock. This stone has been used in many civilizations to protect soldiers and warriors in battle, combining earth energy with energy from the sun. 

BLUE TIGERS EYE
