Questions Regarding Business

PRODUCT QUALITY?

What sets Rare Earth Gallery apart from others within our industry, whether online or in-store, is our attention to finding only the absolute best quality of genuine products on the market today.  Everything we sell is authentic, reviewed, and hand priced accordingly. Finding quality crystals online can be difficult, however, you can rest well knowing these products are gorgeous, 100% genuine, and worth the price!

MAY I STILL RETURN MERCHANDISE IF I HAVE LOST MY RECEIPT?

Yes, however, If you did not create an account with us at the time of your purchase(s) we will be unable to find your sale/return merchandise. It is advised to always keep your receipt or use your account as it makes the exchange process much easier and faster for you! We do not accept cash-back refunds but you can always exchange for store credit on your account.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE MERCHANDISE ARRIVED DAMAGE?

Immediately contact us at the Gallery upon receiving your delivery.  Do not throw any of the broken contents or packaging away. All articles must be kept for inspection. It will also be necessary for you to contact the shipping company to register your damaged merchandise. We also require that you take pictures of the damaged item(s) and the damaged shipping container. Please feel free to email us at info@rareearthgallery.com or call us at 480-575-4360.

HOW DO I ORDER ONLINE TO PICK UP IN STORE?

We provide an option for you to do that within the shopping cart’s "shipping" section.  Simply continue with the check-out process and choose the option to “Pick up at the Gallery”. We'll pack and ready the product within 3-4 hours. If you ordered after hours, you'll have to wait to pick up your item during our open period between 9:30-5pm.  Please keep in mind that the estimated ready times might vary depending on what your product is. It's always best to give us a call before you come by so we can let you know. We always enjoy the opportunity to visit and talk with our clients, and this allows you to see the product one last time before you bring it home!

WHERE DO THE PRODUCTS COME FROM?

We have products ethically mined and sourced from all over the world! From Arizona to Asia, from Russia to South Africa. We truly have a diverse collection of natural and native crystals for all to enjoy. See our blog posts for more information on the different products and their attributes.

DO YOU SHIP/INSTALL?
We ship from our online store as well as in-store products. Please note that shipping outside of the U.S will be more costly as our products are heavily packed and insured to confirm they will arrive safely. We install in the state of Arizona.

LEGALITY OF PETRIFIED WOOD?
All of the petrified wood that Rare Earth sells was obtained lawfully. Rare Earth Gallery works with miners and private landholders to legally procure all of the petrified wood you see in store and online as taking it from the Petrified forest is Illegal. It is cared for and held in a limited Quantity to ensure we use the resource ethically and to its fullest extent. These products are legal to sell and legal for you to buy.

ARE THE GEMSTONE COLORS NATURAL?

Every gemstone/geode is naturally mined and not altered, unless specifically stated otherwise. One example of this exception is Opalite, a beautiful man-made popular stone sold at the gallery.  Feel free to ask us about any of the products and we will be happy to accommodate or confirm the naturally.

WHICH ITEMS ARE NATIVE TO ARIZONA?

We have many items that are native to Arizona, including:

Copper Minerals

Malachite

Chrysocolla

Cuperite

Turquoise

Petrified Wood

Apache Tears (Obsidian)

Desert Rose

DO YOU SELL CONFLICT MINERALS?

No, Rare Earth Gallery does not sell conflict minerals.  The U.S. Congress passed the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the “Dodd-Frank Act”), which was signed into law on July 21, 2010. Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act is a provision related to sourcing conflict minerals. The intent of the provision is to deter — through increased transparency of companies’ sourcing practices — the extreme violence and human rights violations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries funded by the exploitation and trade of certain minerals. Examples of Conflict Minerals include: Tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold.

WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF YOUR GEMSTONES?

We have nearly every variety of gemstone at different price points depending on the rarity. For small gift type products, we carry a range of tumbled stones, beaded bracelets, even some crystal carvings for $20 dollars or under! The quality of our stones are second to none, each piece hand picked for its beauty, rarity, and use. Our employees are there every step of the way to provide knowledge and education, assisting you with your purchase and allowing you to truly experience earth's art.
