Stromatolite is a wonderful example, being a fossilized micro-algae that is approximately 3.5 billion years old! It was one of the first items to produce photosynthesis, creating our atmosphere on earth. Stromatolite aids in stability and resilience connecting us to mother earth, the oldest stone in our gallery and one of the oldest on Earth.
